What You’re Now Going To Do with Your Garbage!

You don’t know it yet, but you’re going to be turning over a new, greener leaf today.  Yes, it’s true.

After going through our garbage here in the office we asked you to look into your own trash bin.  So, what did you find?

We found:

1. Coffee grounds
2. Carrot peels
3. Dry cleaning plastic someone was too lazy to throw away

Now, let’s go through our list.   First off, coffee grounds are a perfect solution to add to your gardening mix or with your compost pile, more on that next week.

Second, the carrot peels.  Well, you know we’re going to push that composting again.

And lastly, dry cleaning plastic can usually go back to the dry cleaners where it came from.  Call your dry cleaners to see if they recycle their own plastic clothing bags.  If they don’t, you can always use your extras as handy painting drop cloths or recycle them yourself.
