Washington’s King County Orders 500 New Daimler Hybrid Buses

While hybrid cars are picking up steam, hybrid buses want in on the spotlight as well and Washington’s King County is doing just that.
The county has just placed an order for 500 new Daimler Orion VII diesel-electric hybrid buses to add to their already in place hybrid buses fleet. Way to go King County!
The buses are expecting to be out in mid 2010 with more hybrid units on the way.
