Valentine’s Day Movie Set Eco-Friendly

Actor Ashton Kutcher recently talked about his latest movie Valentine’s Day being an eco-friendly film set.
Kutcher states, “We had a green set. There was a lot of dedication on this movie to using solar panels and clean energy and recycling. The fact that the movie was shot in L.A. actually made that easier to make happen. I think that every opportunity we have in our industry to make what we’re doing a more environmentally conscious effort is a good thing.”
Using the likes of hybrid and clean diesel vehicles as well as biodegradable plates and utensils, Valentine’s Day isn’t looking so bad after all.

I wonder if it was more energy and/or cost efficient to use the old equip or “upgrade” to the more eco-friendly products.

If you want to be green, then you have to take into effect what happens to the old products and how they are destroyed. Also you have to take into account the production process for the new eco-friendly products.

Sometimes just using the “old stuff” for a while may be the better choice.

Such extensive research can show how an H3 from beginning to end with the entire 360 manufactoring process and employees taken into effect is more efficient than a hybrid.

I feel like sometimes Hollywood may be only going green to be portrayed in a better light but at the end of the day it’s the same thing or worse.
