University of Louisiana Unveils Solar-Powered Home

Students at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette have been working on an eco-friendly project for more than two years now and have recently unveiled their hard work.

Designed for the Solar Decathlon competition next month, the new solar-powered home is one of 20 homes that will be competing this year, though we have high hopes for this Louisiana green home. 

Around 500 partners have signed up to support these earth-friendly projects with donations ranging up to $100,000.
