Tips For an Eco-Friendly Birthday Party
Have a birthday boy or girl this summer? Then we have some great tips for you on how to do it the greenlifestyle way!
- Earth-friendly invites: When planning the big day, be sure to use recycled paper or you can even just Evite party goers and save all that paper.
- Green party favors: Instead of doing the whole plastic bag and cheap goodies this year, why not give the kids some flower or veggie seeds to plant, they won’t believe their eyes when they start taking root!
- Take to the park: This year hit up a local state park for your party and even think about planting a few trees as a birthday activity, though be sure to contact the ranger a couple of weeks in advance regarding tree planting.
Now, do you have any additional tips on throwing an eco-friendly birthday bash?

Excellent idea, the one where you go to a park and planting trees. Another activity you can have is go on a nature trip. You can visit the zoo, or a flower farm, or go on a mini-hike.
