The $10,000 grant will be given to the invidivual “who instigate lasting, positive change in their communities.”  So far the Nevada mayor is sitting pretty in fourth place with 493 votes, but it’s not too late to nominate your own change agent.  Click here for details!

National Geographic, along with Sun Chips, is offering a $20,000 prize for the best green living idea.

The best submitted idea would focus on inspiring people to make small steps in order to bring big change to their lives, local community and environment.

Online voters will choose the winner with the best idea, and a panel of judges will choose four more.
