Six Flags Big Wheel Gets Green Makeover

Six Flags Great Adventure’s Big Wheel just received an eco-friendly makeover as part of the park’s 35th anniversary.

The 15-story tall Big Wheel has been given a facelift which includes new display lights with 7,824-energy saving LED bulbs as well as being painted with vibrant earth-friendly paint.

Six Flags Great Adventure Park President Mark Kane states, “The Big Wheel has been an indelible part of guests’ memories and has been an icon of our property for the past 35 years.”

“It is important to restore it to its original historic beauty while at the same time improving its impact on our environment.”

It’s time to mark Six Flags on the summer vacay calendar.
