Savante Wine Cellars Recycles Old Wine Barrels
Talk about eco-friendly! Colorado’s Savante Wine Cellars has been using recycled wine barrels to build their wine cellars.
With nearly 200,000 wine barrels retiring each year, Savante Wine Cellars founder Darryl Hogeback found a great way to reuse those wood barrels by using the handcrafted mortise and tenon construction method which doesn’t require nails, staples or screws.
We’d like to congratulate this earth-friendly winery on their creatuve use of post-consumed goods!
