Beginning May of this year AT&T will be offering this Zero Green Cell Phone Charger for $30.
The new eco-friendly charger has been designed so that it will stop drawing an electrical charge if it’s plugged into the outlet without the phone attached.
Conventional cell phone chargers still draw power even when your phone isn’t plugged in, so this new chargers is quite the nice new green gadget.

This year the White House plans to make their annual Easter Egg Roll eco-friendly by using earth-friendly wooden eggs made in the US with vegetable-oil based inks.

The event will be held April 5, 2010 with live music, sports, cooking, storytelling and Easter egg rolling, of course.  This is all a part of Michelle Obama’s “Let’s Move!” campaign to help combat childhood obesity.

AT&T is trying their best to put their green foot forward in a new eco-friendly initiative.

Starting with their product packaging, the phone company has gone forward with a plan to support sustainability and reduce their carbon footprint.

The company will now be shipping their cell phones and accessories in a slimmer package which will be smaller and made from recyclable paper.
