Iceland Most Eco-Friendly Nation

According to the Environmental Performance Index, Iceland is the most eco-friendly nation these days, scoring 93.5 points on the EPI scale.

Using environmental health, air quality, water resource management, biodiversity and habitat, forestry, fisheries, agriculture, and climate change on a point system, Iceland is the only country to receive more than 90 points this year.  Switzerland came in second, with Costa Rica, Sweden and Norway following close behind.

If it tells you anything, the States didn’t rank anywhere near the 1oth highest nations, sadly enough.
