Hocking College Gets LEED Platinum Certification
A two-year technical college located in Nelsonville, Ohio has been training their students since 1968 for jobs in the manufacturing sector, but back in 2002 that changed a bit.
Hocking College saw the growth in alternative energy jobs in 2002 and created the Energy Institute which offers training in both advanced energy and fuel cells.
The school’s newly completed 12,200 square-foot building is on track to actually become Ohio’s very first higher education building to receive LEED Platinum certification.
