Google Co-Founder Building Eco-Friendly Home

larry-page-green-homeGoogle co-founder Larry Page has embarked upon building an eco-friendly home in a Palo Alto neighborhood.

The planned 5,900 square foot contemporary compound has caused quite a stir among his fellow neighbors, who until now, lived rather quietly and unknown in the California neighborhood.

Page, who has purchased several lots in Palo Alto, plans to build a large eco-friendly home which will spotlight environmental awareness.  The property plans to feature several solar panels, a roof garden and recycled building  products.
