Eco-Friendly Samsung Restore Mobile Phone Now Available

The new and eco-friendly Samsung Restore is now available for purchase through mobile carrier Sprint.
With a two-year contract you can grab the handset for a mere $50 after a mail-in rebate of $50.
The Restore comes with a side-sliding QWERTY keyboard, messaging apps, camera, media player, Bluetooth and a microSD memory card slot. However, its key specs lay in its green footprint – the Restore’s outer casing is made from 27% post-consumer recycled plastic, while the phone is 84% recyclable as a whole.
Moreover, it meets the RoHS4 standards and has low levels of PVC, PFRs, Phthalates and Beryllium. There’s an Energy Star 2.0 qualified charger included in the box, which (in case you wonder) is 100% recyclable, made from 70% post-consumer materials and printed with soy ink. Finally, the printed user manual is the way of the past, hence there’s only online version available for buyers.
