Posted in Eco-Friendly News on 10/Jul/2009

justin timberlake eco-friendly golf coursePop star Justin Timberlake can be found, when he’s not performing in front of thousands of screaming fans, on the golf course.   Timberlake has become quite passionate about the game in the last few years and is now taking his love of the environment to the course as well.

Timberlake has recently purchased an older golf course and invested around $16 million in making it more eco-friendly.

The singer says of this plans, “Originally it was called Woodstock Hills, and it was the first place my dad taught me to hit a ball. And last year we found out they were going to auction it off and turn it into a development. So we thought it was such a landmark for the community, we’d scoop it and save it. And we did. We were able to before it was auctioned off.”
