Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream Testing Eco-Friendly Coolers

Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream is testing out new eco-friendly coolers at some of their stores to see if this is something they can work into their creamy routine.

In both the Boston and Washington regions, Ben & Jerry’s is testing out hydrocarbon coolers which combine propane and butane to keep things cool using less energy and almost eliminating their global warming footprint.  We’re crossing our fingers for a green living outcome!
