2016 Tokyo Olympic Bid Offered Solar-Powered Stadium

Tokyo’s 2016 Olympic bid included an amazing Solar-Powered Stadium that tried to compete with bids from Chicago, Madrid and Rio de Janeiro.

While Brazil won the Olympic bid, we were pretty excited about this green living solar-powered stadium that would have added to the already existing eco-friendly skyline, but maybe Rio de Janeiro will take a page out of Tokyo’s book.
